Clogged vacuum system – not on our watch!

In time, the growth of scale and urinary stone inside the vacuum pipes will cause serious problems on board vessels. What do you do when you discover that the system is clogged? Maybe you have to move passengers from one cabin to another. If you have any free cabins that is. You might have to drill a hole in the pipes to find the out where the system is clogged. Or you might have to find a hatch where you can access the inside of the pipes to try an unblock it.

A better solution is to clean the pipes properly on a regular basis to avoid the scale and urinary stone growing to the extent where the pipes will get clogged.

The pictures underneath are from a platform where we cleaned the vacuum system by circulating MultiScale through the pipes.
